Yves Porato
On September 28, 2025, Mr. Yves Porato passed away after a long battle. He leaves behind his wife Sylvie Bonin, his children Katherine (Michael) and Kevin (Fanny), and his grandchildren: Elliot, Robin, Rosie, and Noah, as well as other family members and friends who mourn his departure.
He was a courageous and resilient man. He knew how to turn heads with his presence and generosity. It is now time for a well-deserved rest.
A time of reflection in the presence of the ashes will take place on October 25, 2025. You will be able to say a final goodbye and offer your condolences to the family (see details below).
The family does not wish to receive flowers. Your expressions of sympathy may be made through a donation to: The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, a disease that was part of his life for nearly 40 years, and the Mira Foundation, which allowed him to benefit from 3 service dogs (see details below).

Founded in 1981, Mira is a non-profit organization providing free guide dogs and assistance dogs to people with visual and motor impairments, as well as to young people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
