She never defined herself by her trials, but rather by her zest for life and her contagious laughter, which filled every room. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"509\" data-end=\"772\">Passionate about life and its simple pleasures, she found happiness in the pages of the many books that took her on journeys, in sharing her delicious recipes, and in the care she gave to her plants, which she watched grow with tenderness.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"774\" data-end=\"841\">The soothing calm of the waterfront was her place of renewal.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"843\" data-end=\"1011\">Her greatest legacy remains the unconditional love she had for her children and grandchildren.
