It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marguerite Leroux Guimont, which occurred at the CHRDL on Sunday, May 17, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family, just a few months before her 95th birthday.<\/p>\n
Wife of the late Henri Guimont, she is survived by her children Suzanne (Jeff), Pierre (Chantal), and France (Sylvain), as well as her beloved grandchildren: Jessica, Alexandre, Josianne, Victor, Florence, Madeline, Marie-Soleil, Julie-Ann, Jeremie, and J\u00e9r\u00e9my.<\/p>\n
Over the last decade, she also had the joy of welcoming her great-grandchildren: William, Boaz, AbbiGrace, and Zachary.<\/p>\n
Aunt Marguerite was loved and cherished by her many nieces and nephews, with whom she made an effort to keep in regular contact and whose visits she deeply appreciated.<\/p>\n
A woman of deep faith, Margot devoted long moments to prayer every day.<\/p>\n
Margot will be fondly remembered by her friends and colleagues at the Diocese of Joliette, where she served as a pastoral worker and dedicated volunteer within the parish community of Notre-Dame-des-Prairies and the surrounding areas.<\/p>\n
Her passing leaves a great void in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.<\/p>\n
