After years of battling Lewy body dementia, she has found peace and freedom. \n\nYvette was an exceptional woman whose kindness and generosity touched everyone who knew her.\n\nShe leaves a great void in the hearts of those who loved her, but also a rich legacy of memories and precious lessons.\n\nYvette left this world as she lived in it: with grace and determination. She will remain in our hearts forever, inspiring us to live fully and with love. \n\nYvette is survived by her beloved children: Brigitte Drapeau and her daughters Laurie, Charlie (and her partner Guillaume), and Marianne; Andr\u00e9 Drapeau and his partner Brigitte Poirier, as well as their children Emmanuelle (and her partner Kevin, and their children Charlotte and Victor), Jean-Christophe, William, and Benjamin; Luc Drapeau and his partner Marie-\u00c8ve Francoeur, as well as their children \u00c9liane and L\u00e9onard. She joins her beloved husband, the late Laur\u00e9at Drapeau, who passed away in 1989, and her eldest son, Marc Drapeau, who passed away in 2020. \n\nWe also note the passing of her beloved brothers and sisters: the late Marie Gaudet, R\u00e9jeanne Gaudet, and Gilles Gaudet. Alphonse McMullen, Pierre Gaudet, Marcel Gaudet, Claude Gaudet, Denise Gaudet, and Jacques Gaudet, who are still with us, are part of a large and united family; we cherish the memories of the moments shared. \n\nWe will receive your expressions of sympathy on June 7, 2025, between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM.
