She leaves to mourn, her sisters, Nancy Preston (Tom) and Wendy Johnston (Andrew). She was predeceased by her brother, David Loken.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">She is also survived by her loving aunts, Dorothy Pequegnat and Marjorie Twa, as well as her nieces and nephews, whom she adored: Caitlin Dunne, Curtis Shellhorne, Jessica Johnston and Parker Johnston. Julie had a special and loving nickname for each of them. <\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Throughout her life, Julie deeply loved her many pets and was especially fond of horses from a young age. Some of her happiest times were spent working at Tic-Toc Stables and Laframboise Farm. <\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Julie was a brilliant artist who loved painting and drawing. The pieces she left behind will always be treasured. She had a wonderful, quirky sense of humour and was loved by many friends. A special mention goes to her dear friend, Valerey Lavergne.   <\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The family wishes to thank Robert Jones for the care and support he provided to Julie throughout her lengthy illness.<\/p>\nA celebration of Julie\u2019s life and her interment alongside her parents and brother will take place at St. Andrew\u2019s United Cemetery in Campbell\u2019s Bay, Quebec, on a date to be determined.
