His zest for life and his great generosity of spirit will forever remain etched in our memories.\n\nHe leaves behind in deep sorrow his beloved partner of the last 40 years, Ginette Legris, his cherished daughter V\u00e9ronique (\u00c9ric Bressani), Beno\u00eet Charbonneau (Josiane Goyer), his grandchildren Lauralie, Jade, Charlotte, Romain, Nomie, and Nogan, as well as his great-granddaughter Layla.\n\nHe is also mourned by his brothers and sisters Daniel, Christianne, Patrice, and Patricia, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, his nephews and nieces, his close relatives from the Defoy and Legris families, his ex-wife Denis Rivard, and the friends who shared his journey.\n\nA special thought for his dear friends Lyne Bricault and Alain Raymond, as well as for his brother and sister at heart, R\u00e9jean and Michelle Defoy.\n\nTo pay tribute to him and share sweet moments together (see the details below).\n\nRobert desired simplicity.
