Laurette Bernard

Laurette Bernard passed away on September 10, 2022, at the age of 75 years and 6 months, surrounded by her loved ones, at the palliative care unit of the Rosemont Pavilion of Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital in Montreal. She was the daughter of the late Berthe Bujold and the late Josephat Bernard.

In addition to her daughter Mélanie, her son Serge, her daughter-in-law Nathalie, and her grandson Guillaume, she is survived by her sisters: Rolande (the late Réal), Gisèle (Benny), and the late Jeannine; her brothers: Gérald (Gaétane), Romain (the late Danielle), the late Marcel (Albertine), Daniel (Sylvie), Jacques (Sonia), Réal (Christine), the late Gilles, and the late Germain, as well as her many nephews, nieces, and friends.

Two families also held a significant place in her life: the Lévesque family (Robert) and the Merineau family (the late Pierre).

Not to mention Claude Panneton, her beloved companion of the last 12 years.

The family will receive condolences, in the presence of the ashes:

On Friday, October 7, 2022, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., at Saint-Joseph Church, located at 10050, Gouin Boulevard East, Montreal (Quebec) H1C 1A8. A religious ceremony will follow at 3 p.m., as well as the interment of the ashes in the Columbarium of Rivière-des-Prairies Cemetery, located nearby.
