By paying the invoice for a publication on publideces.com, Quebec’s obituary registry, you confirm that you have given us the mandate to publish the obituary of the “Deceased”, as mentioned on the “Invoice”. You agree to abide by the terms of use of our registry, as they appear on our site.

Terms and conditions

The content of the obituary (including, as the case may be, the photo) must respect good morals and in no case may it contain defamatory, discriminatory, insulting, degrading or other remarks. In the event of non-compliance with the present, we reserve full discretion to withdraw (or, as the case may be, to refuse publication) without notice, compensation or otherwise the said notice in addition to retaining all our rights to claim damages in addition to judicial and extrajudicial costs.

Said death notice will appear on our site for a minimum posting period of 24 months. Under no circumstances will PUBLIDECES.COM (directly or indirectly) be held responsible for any case of force majeure as defined by the Civil Code of Quebec. We cannot be held responsible, for example, for a computer problem beyond our control that prevents the publication of the obituary, whether temporarily and/or in a faulty manner, provided that this is not attributable to gross negligence on our part.

Sympathy messages

Any hateful comment / message, defamatory, discriminatory, abusive, degrading or other content will be removed without notice, compensation or otherwise, in addition to retaining all our rights to claim damages (in addition to judicial and extra-judicial costs) from any person at fault not respecting the present.

Erratum and notifications

We ask you to contact us promptly in the event of any technical problem (such as a problem related to “notice sharing”).
