Diane Coté
On June 5, 2024, at the age of 71, Mrs. Diane Coté (Pouliot), born February 22, 1953, daughter of the late Agathe Carrier and the late Wilfrid Coté of Grand Falls, N.B., passed away. She resided in L’Ancienne-Lorette, Quebec.
Diane passed away on June 5 at Michel Sarrazin House, surrounded by her loved ones, very serenely, gently, and above all, very happy to have had the opportunity to see or speak to all those she loved during the last few months, with all her lucidity and usual smile. She bravely fought cancer for the last 3 years, never complaining and skillfully concealing the few tears she shed.
She is survived by her spouse, Ghislain Pouliot, her two daughters Catherine (Wayne Mallish) and Sara, as well as her beloved grandson Nathan.
Her sisters and brothers: Dorothée (Claude Pardons), Roger (Karen Ferworn), Jeannette (Russell Fitch), Rina (Byron Brown), and Robert Coté.
Her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: the late Jean-Claude (the late Suzie Coudé), the late Clément (Suzanne Daviau), Diane (Jean Gauthier), Ginette (Pierre Cauchon), Raynald (Edith Trempe), Héléna (Jean-Marc Kérouac), Normand (Linda Sansoucy), Yves (Élaine Fafard), and Denis (Sylvie Roy).
As well as many nephews and nieces, relatives, and friends.
In accordance with Diane’s last wishes and the family’s desire to mourn privately for the time being, there will be no funeral service. Instead, they prefer to humbly celebrate her life in the coming weeks and months with family and friends.
Also, according to her last wishes, her ashes will be scattered later at a location of her choice.
Have a good journey, and we will never forget you, my Love!
Hoping that one day we can all have the privilege of such a beautiful end to life.
