Jeannine Lefebvre

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Jeannine Lefebvre at the CHSLD Docteur-Aimé-Leduc in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield on November 27, 2025, at the age of 90. She was the daughter of the late Mrs. Lébéa Latour and the late Mr. Isidore Lefebvre.

She leaves to mourn her children: Nicole, Daniel, Suzanne, Monique, Jacques (Marie-Claude Gobeil), Dénis, Marie, and Robert Campeau, as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Beyond all that she was—a wife, a partner, a mother, a sister, and a friend—her greatest devotion was to being a mother: a loving, warm, and infinitely devoted mother to her eight children. She was the pillar of our family, the matriarch who never stopped watching over us.

Mom’s warm smile, her sparkling green eyes, and her joyful laughter will remain etched in the memories of all who knew her. She gave far more than she took and was a woman of love, humor, and generosity of spirit. As we reflect on her life, we are filled with gratitude.

Thank you, Mom, for your unwavering love, for your demonstration of strength and resilience, and for your endless devotion. We find comfort in knowing that your legacy lives on in each of us. Your love will continue to guide us, your lessons will continue to teach us, and your memory will forever remain a bright light in our lives.

Rest in peace, Mom. We love you always and forever.
