Céline Lemieux Blouin

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Céline Lemieux Blouin, beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother, who left us peacefully at Hôpital Enfant Jésus de Québec on March 2, 2025, at the age of 85.

Céline was born to Laurent Lemieux and Germaine Vizien. She was the cherished sister of Lucie and her brothers Jean, the late André, François and Denis. Céline shared 71 years of love and companionship with her devoted husband, Pierre Blouin. Together, they raised three children, Bernard, Frédéric and Caroline, and 5 grandchildren, Ariel, Julien, Lillian, Raphaëlle and Massimo who will carry her memory with love and gratitude.

Céline’s life was marked by an exceptional career in insurance and politics, where she helped pave the way for women in business and government. National Vice-President of the Association of Women of the Conservative Party of Canada, she served as an advocate for women’s progress and equality.

Her family, friends and colleagues will always remember Céline for the light she brought into the lives of all those she met. Her legacy of strength, faith and selflessness will remain engraved in the memory of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
