Mariette Cardinal
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mariette Cardinal, which occurred on August 22, 2026, at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, at the age of 79.
Those who knew her will remember a cheerful, smiling, determined, and optimistic woman who deeply loved life.
She is survived by her children, Alexis, Catherine, and Nathalie, as well as her grandchildren, Marilou, Éloïse, and Thomas, who held a very special place in her heart.
She is also survived by her sister Lucille (Daniel), her brother, the late Guy (Céline), her nieces and nephews, as well as many relatives and friends who shared her life’s journey.
There will be no visitation. An intimate ceremony will take place during the funeral at the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery, where she will rest alongside her parents, in accordance with her final wishes.
