Céline Edward
It is with great love that we announce the peaceful passing of Céline Edward, which occurred on September 21, 2026, in Magog.
She spent her life helping others by being involved in her community. She knew how to spread love, joy, and hope to those around her. She was a loving mother who taught her children to love life as much as she did. Her stubbornness guided her through life for the better… and the better!
She is survived by—and leaves with many fond memories—her four children Maryse, Dhyana, Joshua, and Kara, and her granddaughters Alyssa, Olivia, and Maïly, not forgetting Rosie and Microbe. Many family members scattered across Quebec will remember her unmistakable laugh. Numerous friends of all ages and from all walks of life will also cherish her memory forever.
Céline will be remembered as the gracious lady who knew how to entertain, who put up all her guests for the night, and who woke them to the aroma of a brunch whose secret only she knew. Her passing leaves a great void, but also an impressive collection of expressions, anecdotes, and fits of laughter that we will continue to share for many years to come.
To honor her, we invite you to share a happy memory, to show kindness to someone… or to have a second glass of wine without guilt.
Because Céline would never have wanted us to gather only to be sad, we invite you to come and celebrate the extraordinary woman she was. Come share your memories, your stories, and your laughter at a gathering at the house. A party in her image will be organized: wine, appetizers, music, memories, and the pool will all be part of the occasion!
Please note that, at their request, this will be the only form of celebration of their life to take place on October 10 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
