It is difficult to accept the departure of someone so dear to us. Today, words seem far too small to express all the pain we feel at your passing, Jacques.

You were a kind-hearted man, generous, simple, and deeply human. We are grateful to life for having placed you on our path. Your presence has left a unique mark on the hearts of all those who had the chance to know you. You knew how to create beautiful bonds with the people around you. You had that wonderful way of spreading happiness, sparking laughter, and making moments more precious, simply by your presence. Your smile, your kindness, and your generosity will remain engraved in our memories.

You were also a man of action, always ready to move forward, to build, and to share. A precious man in our eyes, who fulfilled everyone around him.

You were a loving partner, a present father and stepfather, a precious brother and brother-in-law, as well as a thoughtful and exceptional grandpa. In each of these roles, you gave the best of yourself, with love and sincerity. You changed the lives of all those who had the chance to cross your path.

Even though your absence will leave a great void, everything you passed on to us will continue to live through us: your memories, your laughter, your projects, your values, and, above all, all the love you sowed around you.

Today, we do not only say goodbye to you, we say thank you. Thank you for the beautiful moments, for the bursts of laughter, for your presence, for your love, and for the beautiful person you were.

Rest in peace, Jacques.

You will remain forever in our hearts and in our memories. Your time in our lives was a precious gift.
