In Trois-Rivières, on October 2, 2026, Mr. Jean Blondin, painter, passed away.
Jean leaves to mourn his immediate family members: his brother Michel Blondin, his sister Monique Blondin and his youngest brother Paul Blondin, as well as his aunt Huguette Lacelle, who lives in Cornwall, along with many cousins.
Jean was an artist in every sense of the word, both in his way of being and in his way of doing. He enjoyed reading great thinkers and specialists, notably Boris Cyrulnik and Hubert Reeves, whose stances on the environment he particularly appreciated. In the final moments of his life, the poems of Gilles Vigneault and Joséphine Bacon accompanied him.
Jean was a proud man with great strength of character. His determination and strength carried him far beyond all prognoses. He lived intensely until the end.
You are invited to a tribute (Lot IV-1404) at Saint-Louis Cemetery (see below for all details).
You are invited to a gathering to share memories that will take place at Jean’s sister’s home. For those who do not have the contact details, they will be provided after the burial or can be obtained from a family member.
