Husband of Ghislaine Barrée, he leaves to mourn his daughter, Sylvie, as well as his brothers and sisters: Victor (Lorraine), Laurence, Françoise (Bertrand), Viviane (Rosaire), Précille, Sylvain, Harold (late Sue), Darquise (Roger), late Colombe (late Michel), late Céline, late Colette (late Cheong Wong), late Narcisse, late Léopold, late Romain and late Jean-Marie, as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Alain was a man with a heart of gold, always ready to give to others. He loved nature and automobiles.

The deceased did not wish for any visitation or ceremony following his death. He thanks all those who visited him in the last months of his life, physically and in thought.
