Clémence Guilmette

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Clémence Guilmette, which occurred on November 5, 2024, at Hôpital du Haut-Richelieu at the age of 76 years and 2 months. A true force of nature, a great lover of life who managed to keep her childlike heart despite all the trials that life put in her path, she raised her three children alone, two of whom are severely disabled, without ever yielding to the pressure from professionals to place them, and she made her three children strong, independent, and free individuals. A loving, fair, generous, and caring woman, she leaves an immense void in the lives of all those who knew her.

She leaves to mourn her children Chantal Guilmette, Richard Guilmette, and Jimmy Denis, her daughters-in-law Karine Savard-Arsenault and Mélissa Simard, her brothers and sisters the late Berthe, the late Robert, the late Rita, Roland (the late Nicole Albert Guilmette), Réal, Réjeanne (Gerry Raymond), Rolande, and Richard (Manon Rouleau), as well as numerous nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

A celebration to honor her life and pay tribute to her will take place during the summer of 2025. We will announce the time and details surrounding this celebration of her life at a later date.
