Clermont Viens

Clermont Viens, son of the late Clément Viens, from Saint-Guillaume, and the late Brigitte Précourt, from Baie-du-Febvre, passed away at the age of 76 and a half years old, on August 12, 2026, at the long-term care facility (CHSLD) in Laval.

A chemical engineer, he lived in Laval for most of his life and successfully met the various challenges associated with his many projects.

In the last years of his life, Clermont courageously overcame a final challenge: living for over 10 years with partial paralysis caused by a stroke.

We, his brothers and sister, Johanne, Claude, and Daniel, wish to thank all the caregivers who supported Clermont for the excellent care provided in the various establishments where he resided during the last years of his life.

Clermont Viens’ ashes will be interred in the Lachine cemetery alongside his parents.
