It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Elisette Boivin, also known as Lisette, who passed away on June 14, 2026, in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, at the age of 91.
Born on April 5, 1935, in Saguenay, she was the daughter of the late Elias Boivin and the late Gratia Girard.
She is survived by her three children, Denise, Johanne, and Martin (Sonya), born from her union with the late Rosaire Corneau, as well as her grandchildren: Emmanuelle, Marc, Sara, and Alexandre.
She is also survived by her siblings: the late Natalie (the late Carmen), the late André (Claudette), Micheline (the late André), Céline Leblanc (Normand), and Gilles (Guylaine), as well as dear nieces and nephews.
Mom was a kind, proud, strong, and extraordinary woman. Alone, she showed remarkable courage and resilience to provide us with a warm home.
The aroma of her cooking, especially her delicious desserts, as well as her humor and songs, contributed to the happiness of her loved ones throughout her life.
As a mother, elder sister, and aunt, her kindness, generosity, and zest for life will remain a timeless source of inspiration.
To celebrate Mom’s life and pay tribute to her, family and friends are invited to gather in a convivial atmosphere on Friday, August 28 (see details below).
