Fernand Sauvé

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Fernand Sauvé, on September 12, 2025, at the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Home in Hudson. He passed away at the age of 64 following a battle with brain cancer.

Son of the late Émile Sauvé and the late Pauline Lalonde, he leaves to mourn his spouse, Guylaine Laurin, his children of whom he was so proud: Véronique and Guillaume; his brothers and sisters: Lise (late Gilles Cyr), late Roland, France (Hernando Abadia) and Sylvain (Carole Chénier); his brother-in-law Stéphane (Suzie Desjardins). He also leaves to mourn his godchildren: Jean-François, Christelle, Marie-Emmanuelle; several nephews and nieces, relatives and friends, as well as many former colleagues who will keep an unforgettable memory of him.

A lover of hunting and fishing, being out in nature was a great pleasure for him.

Fernand was a kind-hearted man. His strength and rigour left a mark on all those who crossed his path.

In accordance with his wishes, a ceremony in his memory will be held in the privacy of the family at a later date.

A well-deserved rest.

Rest in peace, Fernand.
