Gérard Lalancette

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Gérard Lalancette of Terrebonne, originally from Girardville. He left us on June 2, 2023, at the age of 85 years and 11 months, surrounded by the love of his family at Pierre Le Gardeur Hospital. He was the son of the late Jules Lalancette and the late Délia Fortin.

He is survived by his wife Françoise Duval, his children Gabrielle (Dominique Prévost), the late Sylvain, Johanne (Paul Aubry), Lynda (Michel Lemire), Karine (Jean Alexandre Metivier), his stepsons Jean-Pierre, Sylvain, and François Wolfe, their children Vanessa, Christine, and Keven, his grandchildren Robin, Élise, and Sandy Prévost, Jill Fraser, Simon and Jordan Hupé, Meggy Houle, Liliane Notz, Samie Lalancette, and Abigaelle Pelletier, as well as 23 great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his brothers and sisters from the Lalancette family: Ovila, Denise, Philippe, Germain, and the late Adrienne, Marcel, Léon, Solange, Simonne, Eugène, Alfred, Cécile, and Jean-Luc, as well as his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law from the Duval family.
