The profound sadness of having lost a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle weighs heavily on us today. We also bear the sad duty of announcing his passing to you.

In Laval, on December 25, 2021, Mr. Gérard Michaud passed away at the age of 83. He was the beloved husband of over 60 years to Mrs. Anne-Marie Nadeau and son of the late Mrs. Rose-Aimée Guillemette and the late Mr. Albert Michaud.

He is survived by his 3 children, Brigitte (Roch Giguère), Sylvie (Michel Dumais), and Michel, as well as his only granddaughter, Caroline. He was the brother of: Margot (the late Benoit Côté) (Louis Monda), Gaétane (the late Patrice Michaud), the late Gaston (the late Rolande Bossé), Françoise (Jean-Marc Michaud), Andrée (Marcel Bérubé), Rina (the late Raymond Dagenais), Julienne (Ghislain Lavoie). Also saddened by his passing are his nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

His endearing and joyful personality is already missed. His memory will remain eternal through his family and friends, and we wish to remember only the best. Endings are sad, but for him, it is the beginning of another life, with those he loved and who preceded him in death. They are together, happy, and watching over all of us.
