Ghislaine Boulianne

On this 8^th day of January 2026, Mrs. Ghislaine Boulianne passed away at Résidence Calla in Québec, at the age of 93 years and 9 months.
Wife of the late Gaston Boivin, she had lived for more than 60 years on Sainte-Ursule Street, Jonquière.

She was the daughter of the late Alida Lapointe and the late Charles Boulianne.

She leaves to mourn her children: Lynda (late Pierre), the late Jacques (Mary-Ann), Suzanne (Richard), Claude (Geneviève), Roch and Chantale (Bernard), and her grandchildren:

Mélissa, Frédéric, Jean Philippe, Vincent, Olivier, Philippe, Laurence, Catherine, Julia and Francis. She was also the grandmother of the late Marc Olivier, the late Florence and the late Pierre-Olivier.

She also leaves to mourn several great-grandchildren.

Her beloved brother Normand Boulianne (late Ginette Lévesque), her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law:

Laurier Boivin (late Diane Gagnon), Gérald Boivin (Huguette), Léo Desgagnés (Hélène), Doris Boivin (André) and Carol Boivin (Nicole).

She was predeceased by her sisters and brothers:

Pierrette Boulianne (Yvon Ouellet), Gaétan (Noéma Gravel), Colette (late Camil Boily), Jacqueline (Lévis Villeneuve), Michel (Jocelyne Bouchard), Vincent and Clermont.

Her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law:

Bertrand Boivin (late Madeleine Guay), Lili Boivin (late François Xavier Lalancette) and Ghislain Desgagnés (late Nicole Ouimet).

She also leaves to mourn many nephews and nieces, including her godson Sabin Ouellet, as well as the late Roger Lalencette, relatives and friends.

There are absences that can never be filled.

Our dear mother has left us, leaving behind unwavering courage and love.
