Gilles Nichols

The Nichols family announces with immense sadness the passing of Mr. Gilles Nichols, which occurred in Montreal on September 22, 2026, at the age of 86.

Mr. Nichols is survived by his wife, Marie Cornellier, his son Louis-Martin, his daughter Caroline (Jacques) and his son Jean, as well as his grandchildren, including Alexandre and Francis.

His passing leaves an immense void in the hearts of those close to him. Those who loved him will remember him as an exceptional father, a dignified man, a man of faith, humble and highly cultured.

He will remain forever present in our hearts, and we will continue to live by the values he passed on to us through his example and his love.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, no viewing or public celebration will take place. In respect of their grief, family members wish to experience this moment in the greatest privacy.

As an expression of sympathy, a donation to Saint Joseph’s Oratory would be appreciated.
