Irénée Lavictoire
At Charles-Le Moyne Hospital in Greenfield Park, on April 17, 2024, at the age of 74, Mr. Irénée Lavictoire, husband of Claire Renaud, passed away.
He went to join his late father, Jean-Marie Lavictoire, his late mother, Anita Labelle, his two late brothers, Alain and Serge, and his late sister, Francine (Ronald Pizzardi), who predeceased him.
In addition to his wife, he leaves to mourn his sons: Stéphane (Nancy Labrie), Yves, Patrick (Isabelle Imbeault), Cédrick (Mélissa Boudreau), Jonathan (Marie-Claude Poitras) and several grandchildren;
His sisters: Micheline (late Marcel Boisvert), Ginette (late Roland Aubin) and Johanne; his godmother, Suzanne Lavictoire. As well as his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Lucie Renaud (Serge Gamache), Hélène Renaud (François Savard), late Louise Renaud (Marc Bastien), Pierre (Lynda Descheneaux), Denise Renaud (Bradley Hicks), Richard Renaud (Geneviève Piché), Paule Renaud (Bruno Bourgeois);
And several nephews, nieces, cousins and cousins.
Irénée was a man with a big heart. Proud of his 26 years of service in the Canadian Armed Forces, he was always ready to help. He was loved and was accompanied by his wife until his last breath.
At his request, Irénée will not be on display and there will be no religious service or funeral ceremony.

The family would like to thank all the nursing staff and orderlies at Charles Le Moyne Hospital, in the observation room in the emergency department, then in the pulmonology/oncology unit on the 1st floor, for the good care provided during his hospitalization, as well as the palliative care staff on the 4th floor who were able to ease his suffering in his final moments.
