Jacques Beaudet

Jacques Beaudet (1939–2025)

At the age of 86, Jacques set sail for his final journey on April 1^st, 2025. Born in Saint-Antoine-de-Tilly, he was the son of the late Clovis Beaudet and the late Florida Boucher. He resided in Quebec City.

He is survived by his sons: Marc (Joséphine De Groot), Jean (Nantana Ploydam), André (Sonia Faucher), and Philippe (Mélanie Allard), as well as his grandchildren: Lilire, Malcolm, Clara, Sofia, Léa-Maude, and Hans; his great-grandson Félix; and Louise Gendron, the mother of his children. He also leaves behind many relatives, friends, nephews, and nieces from the Beaudet family.

He now joins his brothers and sisters: the late Agnès (the late Lévis Lamontagne), the late Gemma (the late Charles-Édouard Plamondon), the late Lucille (the late Leopold Désy), the late Germaine (the late Charles-H. Blais), the late Claire (the late Pierre Chalifour), the late Maurice (the late Odette Richard), the late Hélène (the late Jean-Paul Gagnon), the late Thérèse (the late Richard Verreau), and the late Gérard (the late Patricia Lewin).

The family will receive condolences on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at the Yacht Club de Québec (1225 Boulevard Champlain, Quebec City, G1K 0A2), on the second floor. A tribute to his memory will follow at 6:00 PM. This will be an opportunity to remember his stories, his laughter, and the memories he leaves behind.

Interment will take place privately at a later date.
