Jacques Genois
After a long battle, Mr. Jacques Genois of Saint-Raphaël passed away on May 18, 2024, son of the late Raymond Genois and the late Germaine Couture.
He leaves to mourn his wife, Lucie Emond; his sister, Raymonde (Alain Cliche); his childhood friend, Luc Hervieux; his godmother, Pierrette (late Pierrette Leclerc); his close cousins, Lucie (Jean Lapointe), France (Gaétan), Mario (Sylvie Josée Tremblay); as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, stepchildren, children and grandchildren, and many friends.
A small private ceremony will be held at a later date.

Founded in 1982, the Hôtel-Dieu de Montmagny Foundation contributes to the accessibility and quality of health care for the citizens of Montmagny-L’Islet. To achieve this, it sets up various fundraising activities and accepts donations and legacies, both in money and in securities and real estate. Over the years, $7,625,000 has been invested in the purchase of specialized medical equipment for the Montmagny Hospital.
