In Québec City, on August 8, 2025, at the age of 82, Mr. Jacques Hammond (born on August 1st 1943), beloved husband of Lise Bérubé, passed away peacefully at home.
Son of the late Étienne Hammond and the late Gilberte Viens, he leaves to mourn his children: Danny (Anik Villeneuve) and Kathleen (Denis Boucher); his dear granddaughters: Vanessa Hammond-Maheux and Camille Villeneuve-Hammond (Christopher Carle-Bergeron); as well as his sisters and brother: Danielle (Jean-Marc Naud), Nicole, France and Serge (Micheline Asselin). He also leaves in sorrow several nephews, nieces, relatives and friends who will keep an unforgettable memory of him.

A patient and meticulous craftsman, he brought watches and clocks back to life with special care, conveying through his work a respect for time and tradition. He enjoyed simple family moments as much as long conversations over a good coffee. His quiet humour, kindness and integrity will leave an indelible mark on the memory of those who knew him.
