On May 18, 2026, at 5:50 AM at Pierre Boucher Hospital, Jean-Paul passed away in his sleep.
He is survived by his wife Francine, his son Ghislain (Isabelle), his grandchildren, Noémie, Alexandre (Maryanne), and Simon (Sabryna), as well as his great-granddaughters Zoé and Éliana.
He was a well-regarded and deeply loved man; he will be missed.
