“Life is a celebration… and Marc danced until the very end.”

It is with immense sadness and deep emotion that we announce the passing of Marc Hamel on May 21, 2025, at the age of 61.

With his heart on his sleeve and a love for life, Marc was one of those for whom every day deserved to be celebrated. His love of celebrations brought hearts together around him, especially when the karaoke started and he made the room come alive in his own way.

He leaves to mourn his partner Danny, his godson François, all his family, his dear friend Rodney, as well as the many friends who will continue to keep his spirit alive.

The condolences will take place at 67 Saint-Romuald Street in Lévis on June 1^st at 1:00 PM, where family and friends will gather to pay tribute to him in the spirit he loved: love, light, and a nod to celebration.

“Marc’s memory is a fire that will never be extinguished and, somewhere, he will always be heard singing, microphone in hand and a smile on his lips.”
