Marcel St-Hilaire
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Marcel St-Hilaire on May 29, 2025, at the Maison René-Verrier in Drummondville.
He is survived by his children: Elise (Christian Beauchesne), Emmanuel (Marie-Josée Laporte), Melissa, and Étienne, as well as his eight grandchildren: Justin, Alicia, Samuel, Mélodie, Nikola, Amélia, Adam, and Léana.

Passionate about current events and general knowledge, self-taught and interested in various subjects, he was often nicknamed the “living encyclopedia.” He was also a music lover; music was very important to him, and he was interested in all musical styles. We still remember his impressive collection of vinyl records. He was also a lover of plants and animals.
It should also be mentioned that, at the very end of his life, he was able to discover his origins and meet his sisters on his mother’s side. Thank you infinitely for the openness shown toward this brother by the families involved.
