Mireille Vézina

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mireille Vézina, at the age of 69, on September 28 in Boucherville, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on February 18, 1956 in Montreal, Mireille led a life filled with creativity, kindness and love. Devoted as a daughter, sister, niece, aunt and friend, she was also a talented artist whose works touched many hearts. She shared her passion through her art classes and workshops, forming a vast community of students who admired her and whom she inspired. Her paintings, as well as the legacy she leaves with her students, will remain a reflection of her spirit and imagination.

She leaves to mourn her sister Sophie (Adrian Raileanu), her brother Jean (Margaret Kehoe), her nephew Patrick, her nieces: Stephanie (Stephen Cochrane) and Catherine (Jérémie Charbonneau), her great-nieces Mackenzie and Victoria, as well as her great-nephew Archer. She also leaves her aunt Jacqueline, as well as her cousins and many friends and students who crossed her path. She joins in the hereafter her parents Pierre-Paul Vézina and Jeannine Dupuis.

Her warmth, her laughter, her generosity and her immense talent will be deeply missed, but will remain forever engraved in our memories and in those of her large artistic family.
