Monique Lespérance Bastien

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Monique Lespérance Bastien, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, on November 6, 2022, in Lac des Piles, at the age of 77, following a long illness.

She was the wife of Louis-Alexandre Bastien and the daughter of the late Mrs. Madeleine Lafrance and the late Mr. Roland Lespérance. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Valérie and Bruno (Mélanie L’Heureux), her grandchildren Alexis, Thomas, and Charles-Olivier, her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Our thanks go to Dr. Gaétan Bégin as well as to the entire team of the Centre de santé et de services sociaux de l’Énergie (social workers, nurses, occupational therapists, hygiene care attendants, and nutritionists) for their unwavering support and assistance. Our thanks also go to Johanne, Jocelyne, and Hélène for their remarkable dedication over the past few years.

No funeral service will be held. A private tribute will be paid to her later in Quebec City.
