Réal Marcotte
It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Réal Marcotte on December 10, 2025, at La Source Bleue palliative care home in Boucherville, at the age of 75.
He leaves to mourn his wife, Madeleine Létourneau, his sons Hugo-Pierre (Sandra Castro-Miller), Jonathan (Florence Le Gall and his son Lucas), and his cherished grandchildren Gabriel, Thomas, and Naëlla.
He also leaves to mourn his brothers Jacques (Lyse Paradis), Gaetan (Johanne Lecours), Réjean, André (Hélène Plante), his sisters Lise (Gilles Tremblay), Diane (Pierre Ouimet), and many nephews and nieces.
Finally, he leaves to mourn (from the Létourneau family) his brothers-in-law Bernadin, Gilles (Diane Michaud), Sylvain (Gisèle Bégin), Mario (Chantal Hototte), his sisters-in-law Raymonde, Nicole Morin, Renée Davidson, Nicole Saint-Georges, as well as many friends.
A celebration of life in his image will be held at a later date with family and friends. Details will be communicated as soon as they are confirmed.

The family wishes to thank all the staff (caregivers and volunteers) of La Source Bleue palliative care home in Boucherville as well as the palliative care team at CLSC Samuel-de-Champlain for their excellent care, empathy, and dedication.
The mission of Maison Source Bleue is to provide free care and specialized services to adults at the end of their lives; to enable them to live out this final stage of their lives with dignity and respect for their values, in an environment that promotes serenity; through a comprehensive approach, to offer them and their loved ones psychosocial and spiritual support throughout the process. In addition, it ensures the professional development of all members of its interdisciplinary team and encourages the transfer of knowledge to optimize the excellence of the care and services offered. Through its Foundation, it promotes the role of palliative and end-of-life care in improving quality of life to the community and pursues important objectives, including providing for its financial needs and ensuring the sustainability of its work.
