Richard Fournel

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Fournel, which occurred at his home, surrounded by his family, on October 20, 2026, in Quebec City, at the age of 82.

Husband of the late Nicole St-Louis, he is survived by his children: Julie (Marc) and Frédéric (Manon); his grandchildren: Mélissa (Jean Simon), Nicolas (Justine), Simon (Suzie) and Dominic (Tammy); his great-grandchildren: Danny, Éliam and Sélyna; his brothers and sisters: Suzanne, the late Jeannine, the late Jean-Guy, the late Jacques and the late Robert, as well as many relatives and close friends.

He was a loving person, a great fisherman who loved life and travel.
