Rick Stephan Genest

It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Rick (Zombie Boy). He passed away in Montreal on August 1, 2018, following an accident.

Rick is survived by his family (father, mother, sister, brother, and numerous relatives), as well as all those around the world who crossed his path and were touched by his generosity, authenticity, humor, and contagious smile.
Rick was committed to helping the underprivileged; he had made it his mission to “give back to others.”

There will be no public funeral service. A commemorative event will be held in his honor.

All communities are invited to gather in the coming weeks and share their tributes among friends, or make them public if desired.

The ZOMBIE BOY Foundation will be inaugurated in the near future and will continue the work Rick began with disadvantaged youth.
