In Loving Memory of Rodolfo “Rudy” Racelis

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rodolfo “Rudy” Racelis, who passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026, in Montreal, Quebec, at the age of 79.

Born on April 17, 1947, Rudy was a proud Filipino who carried his heritage close to his heart. An avid collector and lifelong fan of pop culture and travel, Rudy found joy in collecting and surrounding himself with the characters, stories, and memories that brought him happiness and kept him young at heart.

Rudy was predeceased by his parents, Librada Abuel Racelis and Filipino Racelis, and his brother, Rolando Racelis.

Rudy will be deeply missed by his sisters, Rosario “Chit” Goodlet and Dalisay “Daisy” Lemay (Roland Lemay); his nieces Jennifer Goodlet, Juliette Goodlet, and Suzanne Lemay; his nephew Ronald Lemay; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, who will remember him with love and affection.

Rudy will be laid to rest in Vancouver, British Columbia, alongside his beloved mother and brother. A private family ceremony will be held in Vancouver.

Though he is no longer with us, Rudy’s unique spirit, youthful heart, love of travel, and passion for the things that brought him joy will remain in the hearts and memories of those who knew and loved him.

Rest peacefully, Uncle Rudy. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
