It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly loved Roger (Tremblay), who passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025, at the age of 82, at Laurentian Hospital in Ste-Agathe des Monts.
He was the son of the late Mrs. Anne-Marie Noël and the late Mr. Pierre-Émile Tremblay.
Loved by his wife, Lise Simard, and adored by his children, Manon Tremblay, Louise Tremblay (Claude Brisebois) and Pierrot Tremblay (Jean-Francois Bernard), he also leaves to mourn his sister-in-law, Danielle Simard, as well as his grandchildren: Maxim Guay (Louis Bellemare), Myriam Simard (François Girard), David Simard (Jessica Leclerc), Gabriel Simard, Cimon Deschênes (Laurie Blackburn), Vincent Simard and Philippe Deschênes, as well as his 4 great-grandchildren: William, Félix, Ézéckiel and Adriel. He was the brother of the late Émilien Tremblay (the late Claudette Blackburn), Marc Tremblay (Diane Hébert), Claude Tremblay (Francine Lebel), Lisette Tremblay (Michel Murray), Micheline Tremblay (Jacque Germain), Alain Tremblay (Denise Beauchamp) and Gilles Tremblay (Darianna Duthil Naranjo).
Born in Métabetchouan on March 11, 1942, Roger was known for his wry smile following his ever-present jokes, his kindness to his wife, his patience, and his unconditional love for his family.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no religious ceremony, but his wife and children will gather privately to honour his memory in the presence of his ashes.
