Thérèse Comiré

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Thérèse Comiré, on June 1, 2024, at the age of 73, following a battle with cancer.

Born in Sherbrooke on January 19, 1951, Thérèse spent much of her life in Mont-Saint-Grégoire, Saint-Jean, and Longueuil, where she passed away surrounded by her loved ones.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Michel Ste-Marie, with whom she shared more than 50 years of happiness and companionship.

She was the cherished mother of Philippe (Christine), Catherine (Pascal), and Odile (Dominique). She was also the affectionate grandmother of her eight grandchildren: Florence, Laurent, Léanne, Jules, Olivia, Zara, Milan, and Alice. She also leaves to mourn her sisters Suzanne, Hélène, and Annie (Daniel), her brothers André and Marcel (Elizabeth), her sister-in-law Johanne Ste-Marie (Michel), as well as many other relatives and friends who will forever cherish the precious memories shared with her.

Thérèse was an exceptional woman, known for her humor, kindness, generosity, and strength of character. She loved cooking and traveling more than anything, and she always looked out for the health and safety of her entire family. Her kindness and unconditional love touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration in her honor, where memories of the deceased will be shared over appetizers and refreshments, will be held on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at a small vineyard in the Belœil region, Domaine Vinéterra.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet the family and share a drink in memory of Thérèse, in a setting she would have appreciated…

She will remain forever in our hearts and thoughts…
