Georges Ally

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Georges Ally, who passed away in Brossard on January 6, at the age of 79. He departed peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his son, Alexandre (Claire Leclerc and his grandson Félix Ally) as well as his daughter Domynick, his brother Gaston and his wife Hélène Allard, his sisters-in-law Louise Gagnon (the late Michel Ally) and Jeanne Leblanc (the late Jean-Pierre Ally). He is also survived by Yves Belzile (the late France Beaudry) as well as many members of the extended Ally-Bédard family, friends, and colleagues.

A celebration of life will be held to honor his journey and to remember the beautiful moments he shared with us, on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Club de Golf du Parcours du Cerf in Longueuil from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The tribute will take place at 3:00 PM and will be followed by a wine reception. All are invited.

For those who may be wondering, no donations are necessary. Georges would have told you:“Think of the amount you might have put into a donation, then take that amount to go out to a restaurant, enjoy the outdoors, see a show, or buy a good wine. Take a moment and do it with those you hold dear… Because life is just a ride!
P.S. No flowers either, and especially no plants! I won’t be there to take care of them, and my children don’t have green thumbs!”
