Christine Orban

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christine Orban, which occurred at St-Raphaël Palliative Care Home in Montreal on May 15, 2025.

Born on October 14, 1957, she is survived by her spouse and life partner Guy Lachapelle, her children: Madeleine, Philippe, and Luc; her brothers and sister: Marguerite (André Beauchamp), Yvon (Martine Sylvestre), François (Leila K.Offmann), and Benoit (Nathalie Thiémonge); her nephews and nieces: Renaud, Jeanne, Maude, Virginie, Maryse, Bianca, Raphaël, Christophe, and Laurent, as well as her cousins, aunts, cherished friends, and numerous colleagues.

The family will welcome you for a final tribute to Christine on June 7, at 9955 Francis Street in Montreal (Ahuntsic), between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. A private gathering for close relatives will follow starting at 2:00 PM.

On Sunday, June 22, the 11:00 AM mass at Mary, Queen of the World Cathedral will be celebrated and sung for Christine, as requested by the choir of which she was a member.

The interment will take place at the Saint-Sauveur-des-Monts cemetery at 130, avenue de l’Église, Saint-Sauveur (QC) J0R 1R7.
