Mrs. Gisèle Pouliot passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones and their love, at the Résidence du Marché in Sainte-Thérèse, on January 20, 2026, at the age of 86 years and two months. She was the daughter of Mrs. Lucie Vachon and Mr. Wilfrid Pouliot.
She leaves to mourn her children: Nathalie Prud’Homme (Stéphane Viens) and Roger Prud’Homme (Nadine Girard), her grandchildren: Rachel Prud’Homme and Xavier Prud’Homme, her sisters and brother: Colette Pouliot (Yves Moisan), Lise Pouliot and François Pouliot (Lise Huot), as well as her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who were dear to her.
There will be no funeral, in keeping with her wishes, but her ashes will be interred in the summer in her native village of Saint-Odilon-de-Cranbourne.

The family would like to thank the caring staff of the Résidence du Marché, as well as her physician and the CLSC nurse of Thérèse-de-Blainville for their professional and very compassionate support regarding her request for medical assistance in dying.
