Jacques Gingras

At the St-Jean-Eudes long-term care facility, on June 27, 2022, at the age of 77, surrounded by his loved ones, Mr. Jacques Gingras, husband of Céline Fortin, and son of the late Jean-Marie Gingras and the late Liliane Morin, passed away. He resided in Quebec City.

A mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 30, at 10:30 AM at St-Ambroise Church in Loretteville on Racine Street. The family will receive condolences 1 hour prior to the ceremony.

He is survived by his wife Céline Fortin, his daughter Nathalie (Mario), his siblings Lise, Jacqueline (Réal Ratté), Francine (Joseph Rousseau), Yves (Sylvie Duschesne), his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Jean-Claude Fortin (the late Pierrette Demers), Pierrette (the late Jean-Claude Melançon), Pauline (the late Christian Pepin), Lise, Denise (the late Jean Drolet) and Michel (Céline Gervais), as well as many nephews, nieces, and friends.

The family wishes to thank all the staff of the St-Jean-Eudes Accommodation Centre and the geriatrics professionals at St-Sacrement Hospital, as well as the CLSC de la Jacques-Cartier, for all the excellent care provided. A special thank you to the many caregivers who allowed our family to keep him at home for as long as possible.
