Jean Drainville

At Lanaudière Hospital in Joliette, surrounded by his family and with medical assistance in dying, on November 12, 2021, Mr. Jean-Marie Drainville, husband of Mrs. Cécile Destrempes, passed away at the age of 82.

A native of Saint-Edmond, he was the son of the late Jean-Baptiste Drainville and the late Aurore Dubois.

Besides his wife Cécile, he is survived by his children: Marielle (Jacqui Jourdain), Pierre (Nathalie Gauthier), and Mario (Andrée Dufour); his grandchildren: Stéphanie, Raphaëlle, Pascal, Alexandre, Tommy, and Annie (by marriage); his great-grandchildren: Caleb, Ethan, Antoine, Aurélie, Jason, Eléonore, Gabrielle, Zack, Jacob, Alexanne, and Evarose (by marriage); his sisters and his brother (sister-in-law) from the Drainville family; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law from the Destrempes family; his godchildren; his many nephews and nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The interment will take place at Saint-Cuthbert Cemetery on November 27, 2021.
