It is with great sadness that we inform you that our mother, Pauline Vaillancourt, widow of Marcel Larouche, passed away on October 4 in Saint-Lambert, just a few days before her 89th birthday. She is survived by her children; Sylvie, Clément, and Julie (Marc), her grandchildren; Jamie, Samantha, Alexandre, Félix, and Mia, her great-granddaughter, Melody, her surviving brother and sisters; Noëlla (Florian), Monique (the late Gaston), Claude (Lise), and Gertrude, as well as many nephews, nieces, and friends.
She led a life she was proud of and fulfilled by, enriched by a teaching career that she loved. Originally from Beauce, she lived in Abitibi, on the North Shore, in Ontario, in Quebec City, and on the South Shore of Montreal. She also lived in Guinea for several years, which was a source of immense happiness for her. A generous and helpful person, she volunteered for a long time; she loved the beautiful and good things in life, and adored nature, birds, beautiful trees, and gastronomy. She leaves an immense void in our lives, but her love will be felt forever.
